I’ve been coming to the Taco Stand since the seventies when I was in college. It’s always a highly anticipated event now for my grandkids. I have never had a bad meal. Everything is great. One thing I ask is to turn up the heat in the green sauce. I always challenge myself with how much sauce I can tolerate. Seems recently that it is milder and I barely break a sweat. TURN UP THE HEAT!!!!
My first taco was from Pepino's 50 years ago. I recently celebrated my 60th birthday there. Everyone in the place sang to me...it was very special! And, just like my first taco...the food was outstanding.
Without a doubt the absolute place to be if you want some great food prepared and served by amazing people! I’ve been a few times now and even when they’re busy the wait for an order has never been long enough to cause an issue. An amazing atmosphere inside the restaurant and out on the patio, you can sit back, relax and sip on a margarita that is by far more superior to any other contender that I’ve come across. Do yourself a favor and stop in sometime. Enjoy some on the house tortilla chips with salsa while you sip that ever so amazing margarita and enjoy that entree that comes out fresh, hot and jam packed with more flavor than you could have ever expected! These guys have been doing such an amazing job! It has been an absolute pleasure to say the very least to not only give them my business but to share them with everyone I can that’s looking for another amazing place to spend some of that hard earned money of theirs! Can’t thank them enough for being who they are and doing what they do
We were camping nearby and took a chance on our first night. We loved the place with it's family run atmosphere. The food was delicious. We normally try different places, but we enjoyed it so much, we came back the next night too!
Really delicious. Fresh ingredients, made to order, takeout, curbside pickup, or eat in. Jumbo margaritas to go! Super safety conscious about masks and social distancing. Friendly helpful staff.
We love the burrito specials on Saturday, definitely worth our drive there. Always sooo good!
I grew up in Brewer Maine and started going here over 30 years ago! They were the first Mexican restaurant in Northern Maine!! All the food is made with the freshest ingredients even the tortilla chips are made hot & fresh! Their signature sauces are The Best and I live in Northern Virginia now & get them delivered to my house!! Love the nachos! The Bean Dip is Awesome! Their guacamole is delicious and so fresh! Tacos are great especially the fish tacos! Love the Burrito el grande! Chili is so thick and delicious! Save room for dessert at this Mexican restaurant because they have THE MARGARITA PIE THAT IS PHENOMENAL!! I dream about it!!
